Wythall Womens Institute

Wythall WI was founded in 1934 and currently has 43 members whose ages range over 4 decades.

We are a friendly and welcoming WI and hold our meetings on the first Thursday of the month at 1:30 in Wythall Village Hall. Meetings will resume on 5th August now that covid restrictions have been lifted. Details of the programme are available on the "Meetings" page.

Please complete the "Contact Us" form if you would like to join any of these meetings.

Prior to lockdown, recent meetings have varied from a speaker describing his trips through Africa, the “Cake Lady” who inspired us with her work with injured soldiers at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, through to our “Caribbean Night” where we served food from the region and played games, sometimes over enthusiastically. Quizzes and comedy features during our meetings, as does time for socializing, tea and cake.

Our monthly meetings are a blend of:-

Twice a year there are group and county meetings which give members the opportunity to meet with other Institutes and extend ‘Friendship’.
